WHY CLASSICS REQUIRE A DIFFERENT CONVERSATION
The safest process begins before anything touches the vehicle.
A classic may carry original paint, a decades-old repaint, plated trim, aging seals, replacement panels, delicate upholstery or modifications installed across several eras. Those details change what should and should not be done.
Rabuck’s consultation creates a shared record of the vehicle’s known history, current condition and intended use before the service scope is finalized.

CLASSIC CAR DETAILING FAQ
Clear answers before you hand over the keys.
Every recommendation remains subject to the individual vehicle inspection.
How is classic car detailing different?
It starts with a closer review of paint history, trim, seals, chrome, interior materials, prior repairs and fragile areas. The process is selected for the individual vehicle rather than applied as a standard package.
Can original or single-stage paint be polished?
Some finishes may be suitable for careful polishing; others are better served by a less aggressive preservation approach. Rabuck evaluates the condition and discusses realistic outcomes first.
Do you offer paint correction for classic cars?
Paint enhancement or correction may be recommended after inspecting the finish, paint history, defect level and preservation goals. A correction level should not be selected before evaluation.
Where is the service performed?
Consultations and consumer detailing are handled through Rabuck’s shop at 6129 US Highway 51 in DeForest, serving classic-car owners from Madison and surrounding Dane County communities.
